April was a crazy month for me.
Starting with holidays at the gorgeous Gold Coast, meeting up with some kindred spirits. Finishing with breaking my ankle and spending lots of time blogging, reading and catching up on TV series!
Here are some things I have been loving this month:
The Organic Store.
I recently met Amanda Bromley, owner of The Organic Store, through a mutual friend. Based at Noosa, she is a mum of two finding and testing amazing natural and organic products and then putting them all in one spot on her online shop. You will find Australian stuff – baby, beauty, home and well-being. I get so excited about finding new natural products I have not seen before. One of them was the Tea Tonic sampler pack she sent me. I am sooooo in love!
Amanda kindly offered to give you all a discount code (whoop!). You can get 10% off absolutely everything at The Organic Store until Mother’s Day (12 May). Just use the code: ORGANICNEWAGEMUM at the checkout!

Upcycled Jeans.
One of my very clever friends, Melissa, recently did this little project and I loved it! She took some jeans of her daughter’s that had a hole in the knee and converted them into a skirt. She roughly followed this tutorial and made some cute yoyo flowers following this one. I am always in awe of people who can sew as I am not that flash at it! Of course, I love anything that makes use of things we already have too. It makes the planet happy!
Pronounced ‘hey-la-la’, this award-winning vanilla paste from New Zealand is so delicious! I have been using it in everything – check out my Choc-Hazel Bliss Balls. I was perplexed to find half the jar gone the other day. With further investigation, I found out the cherubs had been making vanilla milkshakes! How can I complain about that ? At least they are using a yummy natural product. You can get it here.
Astra Spider.
I recently had a coaching session with Astra from Abundant Souls Academy. Wow. That is all I can really say. This lady has a gift. She was able to pinpoint exactly where I was having blocks and able to give me ideas on how to improve. If you are looking for more abundance in your business, this lady is the person to hook up with!
This is a most awesome book! I got mine from the lovely Lauren at New Age Child. You don’t have to be a buddhist to benefit from Sarah’s gentle, wise advice. Although parenting can be rough at times, I still think it’s one of the most amazing things to ever happen to me. This book gives me lots to think about.
So, that is my top five things this month.
What is on your top five list?
