Five Favourite Things – June

June 26, 2013 · 11 Comments

Well another month rolls on by! Can you believe we are halfway through the year?

June saw me being inspired, being cold and learning to be patient.

Here are some things I officially love.

Five Fave Things

Miod Face Scrub. This is without a doubt my new favourite face scrub. It works so beautifully, smells amazing and contains only three super-natural ingredients – almond meal, walnut-shell and lavender flowers. You just add a tiny bit of water to the mix and off you go. Heavenly. Get it online  direct from the beautiful Anna.

five fave things

Healthy Home, Healthy Family book. Is it a big call to say that everybody should get this book? Maybe! But I really do think everyone should! If your family is suffering from any health problems, your home is one of the first things to check out – particularly if you get better when you are away from your home! Nicole covers things from allergens through to water, pesticides and wifi. Brilliant. Get it at Shop Naturally.

five fave things

Cocobiotics probiotic energy bar. The newest product from the amazing people at Nutra Organics and Superfoods for Kidz! These bars are seriously tasty and the health benefits are incredible. They contain multi strain fermented probiotics and organic fibre rich coconut in a raw, chocolate energy bar. Possibly the yummiest way to get your daily probiotics! Get it online from my affiliate shop.

five fave things

Broth of life dehydrated bone broth powder. A brilliant product from a gorgeous Tassie mum, Micheline. Not everyone can be bothered making their own bone broth or have room to store it. This is a great way to consume it and get the health benefits. I have been using it in place of stock in recipes and it is delicious. Normally stock powder contains a lot of artificial additives and usually some msg! This is a fantastic alternative and it makes me so excited!!! Find details and order from the Broth of Life Facebook page.

five fave things

Dr Peter Dingle. Natural New Age Dad and I were lucky enough to get along to a talk in our home town presented by Dr Peter Dingle. Peter is a dynamic, passionate man talking common sense about our health and well-being. His presentation really reinforced everything I have been learning  in the past five years – from chemicals in our home to practicing gratitude to taking supplements. His information and research is backed up with scientific evidence.  I would encourage everyone to get along to a talk or to follow him on Facebook or get into his books. We are big fans and can’t stop telling everyone about his amazing work.

these all look great … will have to look more into that book … could be good.

I discovered that you can eat raw turnip! LOL … we are growing them and love them. But now I know you can eat them raw too.
