Yes, I know it’s July. I am a bit behind! Was June a crazy, challenging, emotional, weird but also good month for you too?
I want to share with you five things I adored in June. Things that meant a lot to me and helped me deal with the crazy month!
~Ethereal perfume from Aromatique Essentials~
I ditched the chemical laden synthetic perfume years ago. Only essential oils for me now! The gorgeous Julie from Aromatique Essentials sent me one of her Ethereal aromatherapy perfumes to try. It has an organic oil base and a ‘magick’ blend of pure essential oils. As well as smelling pretty, the perfume gives you all the uplifting benefits of essential oils. Divine!
My beautiful yoga teacher, Leeann, introduced me to some dru yoga in class and I fell in love! I immediately went online and bought a book and dvd. I would probably describe it as yoga in motion. It is a series of beautiful flowing yoga postures. The Natural New Age Dad and I have both been doing lots of dru over the last few weeks. It is incredibly therapuetic and powerful. I feel amazing after I do dru! Get into it, especially if you need some healing right now.
~Inspiration from Sanctus Stones~
I don’t think you could find nicer people than Ann-Marie, Heidi and Wendy from Sanctus Stones. They are seriously beautiful souls, making gorgeous products. They sent me this inspirational tea-towel (or wall hanging!) after I saw it on their website and told them how lovely it was! I have put these on my Christmas list to give to some special people (you know, those ones who have everything). They are a fabulous reminder to be positive, inspired and grateful, even when you are doing everyday things like doing the dishes!
~Crio Bru brewed cocoa beans~
I know I am a bit slow on the uptake as many foodie bloggers have already discovered Crio Bru and raved about it! The gorgeous gals at Crio Bru sent me some to try this month. Oh my gosh. I get what everyone was raving about now. This stuff is heavenly. It is basically roasted and ground organic cocoa beans, that you brew up like coffee, in a plunger. You don’t even throw away the leftover grounds – you can use them in your cooking! The health benefits are amazing too – read some more about it here. One of them is losing weight – by drinking a delicious chocolately drink every morning? Bring it on, I say!
~Jamie Oliver on Masterchef Australia~
Masterchef! My guilty pleasure. It’s about the only thing I watch on TV and I am loving this season. Absolutely beautiful food is being prepared and I am especially happy to see all the thermomixes being used! I love that Masterchef inspires families to start cooking real food at home. My favourite moment so far has been the Jamie Oliver episode. Jamie is my hero.
So, that is my top five favourite things for June. What are your favourite things at the moment?
