November was a month of spiritual growth and change for me.
How was it for you?
Here are some things that floated my boat this month.
Rose-Hip Plus’s new rosehip oil. I love rose-hip oil – it’s mother nature’s best kept anti-wrinkle secret! I was lucky enough to receive some of this new oil to try out. What I am loving the most is that it is not only affordable, Australian and certified organic, but it’s cold pressed. That means the oil is extracted from the seeds of the rosehip plant, without using heat, solvent and chemicals. You only need 3 or 4 drops, massaged into your skin, twice daily to see benefits. It is amazing for healing scars, keeping your skin nice and soft and minimizing the wrinkles! Unlike other rosehip oil I have tried, this one has a very light, pleasant fragrance. Have a read here for some more information about rose-hip oil. You can get it online straight from the company or find a local stockist. Throw away those expensive, chemical-laden wrinkle serums and embrace the rose-hip!
Would you like to try it? You can win a bottle for yourself! Simply make sure you are a blog SUBSCRIBER (add email to the top right hand side), go and LIKE the Rose-Hip Plus Facebook page (go here) and leave me a COMMENT on this blog post telling me what BENEFIT of Rose-Hip Plus appeals to you the most. Please read the terms and conditions at the bottom of the post too.
THIS GIVEAWAY HAS NOW CLOSED. THE WINNER WAS CLARE!
Soul awakening program. I have spent the last month on the phone with Megan from Your Intuitive Family every Wednesday night, learning more about myself! It has been a life-changing experience. Starting with a soul-guidance blueprint, I learnt who I was at soul level and what I was here on this earth to do. Megan identifies any blockages and obstacles that are holding you back and how to eliminate those. I had several beautiful guided meditations where I met one of my angel guides (this blew me away) and my animal spirit guides. If you are feeling lost or confused, I really recommend thinking about doing this with Megan. I feel so much more confident in my abilities and the direction my life is taking. I know that I have a team of angels and guides helping me and I can call on them for assistance at any time. I am more at peace with myself and life. Megan is truly a special soul with an extraordinary talent (look at the cheeky grin too!) Check her out on Facebook here. Guess what the Natural New Age Dad is getting for Christmas!!
Vegie Smugglers new e-book. Wendy makes healthy eating ridiculously easy with her 6 week meal plans. Eat well with 38 recipes and shopping lists. Get the family involved on the Ipad or Kindle and pick your dinners together for a bit of fun. Great price too! I love a bit of vegie-smuggling, especially now my daughter is being fussy again at age 11. Go here to check it out.
Rawganic’s Hibiscus Raw Chocolate. What, you think I could go a month without chocolate appearing on these posts??? Raw chocolate is sooooo good! This one from Rawganic is no exception. I found it at my local health food store, but you can buy it online. Smooth and fudgy with a hint of tangy dried hibiscus flowers – very exotic! This is chocolate that you feel virtuous eating – raw, organic and vegan. Bring it on! Check them out on Facebook or on the web.
Chi Coconut Water. Scott from Chi Coconut Water contacted me this month and asked if I would like to try their coconut water. To be honest, I was less than enthusiastic! I have tried coconut water before and I wasn’t a fan – sure I could see the benefits and it’s okay in a smoothie, but it tasted pretty feral to me. Anyway, the Natural New Age Dad likes it, so I said, yeah, send me some and we will check it out. Well, it turns out I do like coconut water. But I like Chi Coconut Water! It’s really yummy and very different to that other brand (who shall remain nameless) that I tried. Chi is 100% Pure Coconut Water with no added sugar or preservatives. It’s high potassium and packed with electrolytes which keep your body rehydrated, especially if you have been exercising. It’s nature’s original sports drink. You can get in online or find a stockist.
THIS GIVEAWAY HAS NOW CLOSED. THE WINNERS WERE JADE, ADRIENNE AND KIRA!
Would you like to try it to? Scott is giving away 3 prizes of a case of 12, 330ml Chi Coconut water! Ok ..with the Rosehip plus it would have to be a toss up between the scar reducing properties and the wrinkles..I have both so if it helps either it is one that I am going to have to try. Now as for the Chi coconut water this is something that I have never tried but I think after my twice daily feeding and watering of all of my gorgeous animals (not the nicest of jobs in the heat) I am thinking that a Chi coconut water might just be what I need to bring me back to life. Thanks for sharing your faves with us again Sonia..good job!
rosehip oil- I have really bad stretchmarks from having 10 pounds+ babies! so would love to actually find a product that does what it claims!
chi coconut water- I want to try it when I am walking up and down hills babywearing! I love coconut water and your right chi is much better then some of the other brands!

I would love to try the Rosehip PLUS – it would be perfect for my sensitive skin, and fading some of my scars – have liked on FB 🙂
The ability of the Rosehip PLUS to heal scars appeals to me 🙂 My 12 year old son has some scaring across his forehead after an accident when he was a toddler. They bother him quite a bit now that he is older – the lighthearted ‘Harry Potter’ references no longer make him smile 🙁 We have tried a few other (pricey!) creams without luck. I know he’d <3 to give the rosehip oil it a go!!
Hi Sonia, you have the best giveaways!
Healing of scars is a top interest of mine atm – I would love to win the oil for my brand new caesar scar, which is going very nicely but every little helps in this area as I know from prior experience 🙂
P.S. Page liked 😉

My fave things this month – my fab husband who is taking such great care of me and my girls in this first week of life with a newborn again; awesome midwives in our local hospital; awesome surgeon who seems to have done a much better job of this caesar than the last one; and my lovely friends who have supported and visited and shown so much kindness in recent weeks. Lots of faves and lots to be grateful for in Nov 2012 🙂
I’d love to guzzle some Chi Coconut Water after I competed in the Triathlon (didn’t win but was still super thirsty!) and after the daily Mummy Triathlon: Chasing after kids all morning, Running around speed cleaning while they sleep, then Child Wrangling to get them all to have a bath & get into bed!
(I have liked Chi Coconut Water on FB)
Rosehip Oil please! Anything to get rid of a wrinkle or two.
Would love to try the Chi Coconut Water. I have heard it’s the best brand but haven’t been able to find it at our shops. Would drink it after a nice walk 🙂
Love chi coconut water! It’s the best! Wish I could buy in Hervey Bay but I have to bribe family members to bring it when visiting. I use it in the heat for myself and toddler to keep our electrolytes balanced in the humidity and after any gastro bug! X
I would love some of the rosehip oil for scar reducing properties. I have a 5 inch long scar that I would love to see fade a bit.
I would love to try Chi Coconut Water, i dehydrate easily in Summer just from walking & something natural to replace electrolytes would be wonderful.

Would love to try the rosehip oil. Have liked on FB. I like best how its a clean, local, well made product. Also how it helps to improve the skin’s water barrier property, especially appealing with the hot weather approaching. Thanks.
I’d love some of the rosehip oil for wrinkles – I have just reached “that age” where my age has caught up with me & is showing in my face :/
I’d love to try the coconut water after yoga. I love coconut water straight from the young coconut, but so much more convenient to pour it from a pack!
I would love to try the Chi Coconut water – after hitting the gym, it’s the best natural ‘sports drink’ going!
As a Mum of five, I try to be patient, but there are definately times where this is not possible, so I would LOVE the roshehip oil for my frown lines that are starting to appear, and are more prominent when I am angry or frustrated….not that often, but with five children aged between 3 and 17 it does happen!! thanks for all your wonder information!!
I’d like the coconut water please for myself and family although I had to laugh when you said that it was good after excercise because I thought, ha! what excercise? Unless doing housework and running around after 4 small children counts!

Love love love Coconut Water, so I’d love to try the Chi Coconut Water. I like to drink it after suffering too long with chocolate cravings… satisfies the cravings every time!
I love the fact that Rosehip PLUS Rosehip Oil has Vitamin A in its natural form which is a strong defense against skin damage and would help keep my skin hydrated. I’ve recently been told I have to incorporate some serious hydration in my beauty regime so this would help me heaps!
As for the Chi Coconut Water, our whole family swears by everything coconut and we LOVE drinking coconut water. I’m also happy to give it to 17-month old daughter so that I can replenish her electrolytes and potassium levels. I would drink Chi Coconut Water after our weekly swimming lessons because we tend to be really hungry and thirsty after that mini-workout!
I’d love the Rosehip to make my skin soft again…my toddler likes to stroke my face 🙂
I’ve heard a lot about the Coconut water but I haven’t tried it yet. I’m always skeptical about all of the new ways to hydrate yourself, I tend to stick with water! (Boring)
Hmm… what did I favourite in November? My new mascara is divine, Lash Impact by Nutrimetics. Love it!
I would love to try the Rosehip oil, especially around the delicate eye area which tends to be drier and more sensitive than other areas of my face.

I usually drink coconut water straight from the coconut after any long hot day while pregnant. I haven’t tried Chi yet.
Memories of drinking cold coconut water out of coconuts travelling in the heat in south-east asia. The most refreshing revitilising thing to drink in the heat. Chi oconut water would be perfect to refresh in this crazy hot weather we’re having.
Would LOVE to help out my dry skin with some Rosehip Vital. 🙂
I would love to give my face a treat with this rose hip oil, especially the road map area around my forehead!
And with the heat we’re having here, that coconut water sounds perfect. I make a lot of green smoothies for my two boys (especially because one of them hardly eats anything). The recipes I follow use coconut water, but I’ve just been adding water because I find it hard to get hold of. So this would be great!
Chi coconut water – great after getting out of bed (which is never late enough these days lol). Added to a smoothie it would be great with seeds or LSA, yoghurt & fruit. Yum, great energy boost/hydration aid!
Just waking up is a good enough excuse to try the coconut water. I’m NOT a morning person and certainly don’t feel full of energy when I wake up.
I would love the Rosehip Oil for the scars on my knee. I have had five surgeries on the one knee and I have a mish mash of scars running all over it. It would be great to find a product that actually works to help reduce the scarring.

Rosehip oil – chilled what a great idea. I love that is Australian, organic, only 3 or 4 drops, no nasties, lasts for ages, and it minimises wrinkles – the roadmaps of our lives…..
i subbed yay! & liked the 2 fb pages 🙂
Rose-Hip Plus – anything to keep the my skin glowing and soft as i age ( i hit the 3-0 this year) so i can continue to live day to day with zero make-up (despite being told when i was in my 20’s that i’d soon have to give up my natural look, so i didn’t look like an old bag :/ )
chi coconut water – after a beach trip in a heatwave with my 3 girls, chi coconut water would be very refreshing and cooling.
I would LOVE a case of Chi Coconut Water and would need it most after sleeping! Just can’t get going anymore without a green smoothie and I’d love to try one with coconut water 🙂
Id love to try the organic rose hip oil to help reduce all the fine lines and wrinkles that have seemed to have appeared over the last few years x
I would love to try the Rosehip oil on my son who has recently had a buster off his bike and torn a piece off his nose which is most definitely going to scar. I want to try any natural solutions to help with the scarring to see if we can reduce it. Oh, and I have LOTS of wrinkles, anything that can help with that I will give a go!!
