Do you have a favourite chocolate bar?
I know one blogger who has a thing for Cherry Ripe! Mine would have to be a Caramello Koala, but I haven’t had one in quite some time.
Although I think it’s totally fine to have these occasionally, how much more awesome is it when you could make your favourite chocolate bar at home, without the artificial stuff, using real whole foods.
Yes, I know they take time to make and are a little fiddly, but hey, this is a good thing because you won’t make them everyday!
I have eight healthy, whole food recipes for popular chocolate bars, just for you.
Where recipes call for agave syrup, I personally would replace it with honey, maple syrup or rice syrup.
Healthy home-made chocolate bars!
Paleo Twix Bar from Amazing Paleo.
Healthy Coconut Rough fromย Becomingness
Raw Homemade Snickers Bar from DAMY Health.

Thanks so much. My kids and I love making raw chocolate but so far we have just been making the base and adding ingredients such as goji berries, nuts, seeds etc. I love the look of these and we will try them. You have a great website and facebook page – A friend just passed the links on to me. So inspiring to see like-minded people online.
Hello Angela! Thanks for stopping by! I will go and check you out! ๐
These look so good!
Great. Now I’m starving!
me too, whip me up some would you? ๐
Thanks so much for featuring my mars bar picture xx
Oh Peta – thanks for making up such a great recipe!!! It’s the most popular by far with my readers ๐ ๐ Glad to have found you – I love the look of your stretching stuff x
Yum these all look so good, but the mars bars are calling my name!
it seems to be the most popular one!
I tried the cherry ripe which wasn’t amazing and I tried the Mint Patties which are ridiculously good!!!!!!! Have made them several times already!
My all-time favourite chocolate is Whittakers peanut butter chocolate. I won’t buy it any more mainly bc if I do, I WILL eat the entire block (hubby & kids may get a luck if they’re lucky ๐ ). I suspect it would be relatively easy to make a healthy version lol maybe I’ll have to try!
We just love making our own raw choccy too with almond butter! So maybe our fave are peanut buttercups?!
How good are they? Oh yum!
Wholefood simply also do a bounty bar. Thank goodness there are so many people out there making such fab, awesome food for us to make! Feeling blessed. xx
All dead links.. dissapointing, cause it looked so good!
Hi Mariette, only two of the eight links are not working, not all dead! Thanks for letting me know, unfortunately bloggers sometimes stop blogging!
