Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
I know here in Australia, it’s not a big tradition like it is elsewhere.
I am a fan!
Sure it’s nice to show your love to your special people (and yourself) all year round, but it’s also nice to make an effort and do something special. You don’t have to make expensive, extravagant gestures, just something to say, hey I was thinking of you! Even just cutting out some healthy food into heart shapes or baking a cake in a heart shaped tin are all easy and fun.
I have a few ideas to get you started…..
Super quick homemade raspberry chocolate! It’s sooo yummy and it’s healthy!
Cute fruit hearts! Check out how do to it at Spoonful.

I have admit we don’t do much in the way if V day. Sometimes we remember to wish each other happy. But I like the idea if just making a simple gesture like baking some heart shaped biscuits. Thursday is one of my home days, so maybe I will do that next week, and give them to him for work on Friday.
Homemade raspberry chocolate? You have my heart!! x
Love these. I did the heart shaped sandwiches in the lunchbox yesterday. We don’t really do Valentines but decided to do a family thing today. Will now make heart shaped watermelon as you’ve shown. Thanks for the idea!
Thanks for stopping by Katie – it’s afun thing 🙂
Do you know in our house, the small gifts and food treats are usually reserved for the kids, for the hubby and I Valentines Day is all about spending time together and remembering why we fell in love all over again xx
