Make your own chocolate scrub and mask!

March 20, 2013 · 27 Comments

Chocolate is not just good for us on the inside, it’s also fabulous on the outside!

Who says you have to spend a fortune on organic skin care?

Make it yourself at home and you are guaranteed no nasties!

I have two easy chocolatey beauty recipes that you are going to love.

After doing both of them, my skin felt so incredibly soft.

Even the Natural New Age Boy (14) had a go!

Right, let’s make your own chocolate scrub and mask!

Make your own chocolate scrub and mask!

Choc Scrub

Okay, so this is what you need:

2 teaspoons leftover Crio Bru grounds (I freeze them for use later in recipes and scrubs!)

2 teaspoons melted coconut oil

Okay, so this is how you do it:

Mix together. Gently massage into your beautiful face and rinse off. Easy!

It is also luscious as an all over body scrub.

Choc Mask

Okay, so this is what you need:

2 teaspoons organic raw cacao powder

2 teaspoons organic plain yoghurt

2 teaspoons organic raw honey

Okay, so this is how you do it:

Mix together. Brush onto your face or apply with fingers. Get a nice thick layer.

Leave on for 15 – 20 minutes. Rinse off.

Chocolate Mask

Put some cucumbers on your eyes and go and lie down somewhere.

Choc Mask

Bonus is that you can have a snack if you get hungry.

My daughter made the chocolate mask the other day for herself and I, she especially liked licking the leftovers in the bowl afterwards.
